A Winter Wedding

Snow + cold weather, are not the typical months for a wedding; but the snow made this wedding look whimsical and quite possibly turning winter into a new must-have wedding season.  To create this style, clip-in hair extensions were used to make her hair fuller, add texture, and give that oh so desired messy side bun.  Let's raise our glasses to this beautiful bride & groom. Congratulations!

The Knot magazine + online

This is a wedding that keeps on giving and giving.  The bride was fantastic  to work with + amazing wedding planners at A Simply Chic Event, then finding out the whole thing will be published in The Knot Magazine and online,  was more than my heart could take.  A huge thank you to all that made this possible.

Magnolia Rouge Engagement Shoot

Oh my gosh, could this be any cuter?  I think not.  I mean there is a bunny, seriously!  I had a blast styling her hair outside, on a screened in porch, complete with icewater and a cool breeze... it was magical.  To gather inspiration, it started with a few words: outdoorsy and bluebell fields in Va.  Braids are all the rage right now,  but I wanted to turn up the heat and create something a little different.  I went with a pulled apart twisted braid, which added fullness and a carefree look.  See more at Magnolia Rouge.  Enjoy!
