Summer Engagement Shoot

Could this couple get any cuter? I think not! I just love all the little details...  her soft dress with the open back, the crate filled with cheese and crackers, the wardrobe change and the caring way they look at each other; not to forget, her flowing curly locks.  Stay tuned for wedding pictures, I know you'll die over them.

Featured on Maharani Weddings

Nadia D Photography has a way of capturing a brides truest beauty + her keen eye sees artistic details  most would miss, making each shot worthy of Vogue.  Then add Nour Kazoun's steady hand + natural talent for mixing makeup colors, trends and styles; you have a bride who's glowing and makeup that'll last the entire night.   When it's my turn to pin up the hair, I stand in awe at the talent in the room and love watching the sweet glances between the bride & groom as they hold each others hands or steal a quick kiss.  See more at Maharani Weddings

A Winter Wedding

Snow + cold weather, are not the typical months for a wedding; but the snow made this wedding look whimsical and quite possibly turning winter into a new must-have wedding season.  To create this style, clip-in hair extensions were used to make her hair fuller, add texture, and give that oh so desired messy side bun.  Let's raise our glasses to this beautiful bride & groom. Congratulations!

The Knot magazine + online

This is a wedding that keeps on giving and giving.  The bride was fantastic  to work with + amazing wedding planners at A Simply Chic Event, then finding out the whole thing will be published in The Knot Magazine and online,  was more than my heart could take.  A huge thank you to all that made this possible.

Magnolia Rouge Engagement Shoot

Oh my gosh, could this be any cuter?  I think not.  I mean there is a bunny, seriously!  I had a blast styling her hair outside, on a screened in porch, complete with icewater and a cool breeze... it was magical.  To gather inspiration, it started with a few words: outdoorsy and bluebell fields in Va.  Braids are all the rage right now,  but I wanted to turn up the heat and create something a little different.  I went with a pulled apart twisted braid, which added fullness and a carefree look.  See more at Magnolia Rouge.  Enjoy!
